A POEM TO BRIGHTEN THE DAY

“Somedays we just need to know there are kinder days to come” and we just need that place to go that restores our sense of peace. For me that place once was the rainforest within Huonbrook and the river running through it gave a sense of serenity that was a stepping stone back to a more peaceful state of mind. A poem to brighten the day When the day is grey Take heart that The rain will come And the garden will grow It has always been this way Since the beginning of time That these times will pass So new seeds will sprout Stronger and more resilient There is peace in this knowing That these times of turmoil Can make tomorrow a brighter day If you will stay Camille Barr
